Relationships: The How and Why of it All – Relating to Others

Stay at Home Webinar

Sunday, November 15, 2020
10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. [Note time change]

In this discussion we will explore the distinction between what we want in relationship versus the opportunities and limitations revealed in our astrological chart. For many, the word “relationship” often equates with romance, though this is not the focus of this talk. Relationships are layered and nuanced – we are children, lovers, friends, colleagues, family, etc.

Understanding our propensities, patterns, and the unconscious motives behind our interactions, helps us form reasonable expectations for creating balanced and meaningful relationships. How, why and when do we resonate with one another? Transits, progressions and timing tell the story.

Alexandra Karacostas is a professional astrologer based in northern California and Greece. An avid student of astrology since 1975, she has been practicing professionally since the 1980’s. Alexandra teaches and lectures nationally and abroad and serves an international clientele. Since 2007 Alexandra has served on the board of directors of the Organization for Professional Astrology (OPA) since 2007, and as President between 2010-2014. She continues to serve on the OPA faculty as a Peer Group and Consulting Skills facilitator. One of Alexandra’s passions is relationship astrology and in 1989 co-founded NCGR’s Synsyg chapter. She has written for various publication throughout the decades, was a columnist for The Mountain Astrologer magazine, and has contributed chapters for OPA’s books, The Professional Astrologer and the new Essential Astrology coming out soon. Alexandra also leads small, specialized tours in her beloved Greece. She can be reached at: [email protected], www.WisdomAstrology.com.

The last instance of a Saturn-Pluto conjunction in the late degrees of Capricorn occurred in 1284. Philip IV became King of France under this influence, and the policies of his reign had serious consequences for France for the next several centuries.

As the Saturn-Pluto conjunction of 2020 is in effect at the time of the next US election, it will affect the US economy and politics, regardless of who wins. Marie Schoeppel will present her forecast on what is ahead for the US in the long term.

Marie Schoeppel has been an astrologer for over 25 years, emphasizing financial and political astrology. Her book, The Dragon’s Debt – An Investor’s Timeline to Profits During China’s Financial Crisis 2019-2020, is a forecast of the political and financial effects of the Saturn-Pluto conjunction for China and the Chinese Communist Party. She studied financial astrology with Michael Jenkins, author and publisher of Stock Cycles Forecast. She has a degree in Mathematics from UCLA, and successfully passed the ISAR Competency Exam. You can read her forecasts on her website at globaltrendscycles.com
