MORNING LECTURE
Interpreting the Rulers of the Houses and Timing Their Activation
One of the keys to chart delineation is learning how to interpret the rulers of the 12 houses when they are in different houses. For example, what does it mean when the ruler of the 7th house is in the 11th house, or when ruler of the 10th is in the 9th? In this lecture attendees will learn how to interpret these placements, as well as how to identify when the topics associated with them will become activated at specific times in the life of the native by using a timing technique known as annual profections.
AFTERNOON WORKSHOP
Timing Peaks and Transitions in Your Career, Health, and Relationships
In this workshop you will learn how to time peak periods and transitions in a person’s career and life direction by using an ancient timing technique known as Zodiacal Releasing (ZR). This technique was only recently rediscovered through the translation of a 2nd century text, and it is quickly becoming recognized as one of the most powerful and effective predictive techniques available today.
Attendees will receive a detailed handout with their own periods (if pre-registered by March 27), and they will learn how to use the technique to determine high and low points in their career, as well as periods in which job changes are more likely. Later we will discuss how the technique can also be applied to other topics such as health and relationships.
TO GET THE MOST OUT OF THIS WORKSHOP:
Chris recommends that you compile a chronology of important events and turning points in your life, primarily with respect to career and overall life direction. This will come in handy as you learn the technique at the workshop. Even if you don’t have a chance to write out a full chronology, at least spend some time thinking about your past and try to construct an outline of some of the most important events in your life so far.

Chris Brennan is a professional astrologer from Denver, Colorado. He was educated at Kepler College, where he focused on cross-cultural comparisons between the astrological traditions. He is the former President of the Association for Young Astrologers, and the former Research Director of the National Council for Geocosmic Research. He currently works as an associate editor for The Mountain Astrologer magazine, and serves on the board of Kepler College. He specializes in the Greco-Roman tradition of astrology known as Hellenistic astrology, and his forthcoming book on the subject is titled Hellenistic Astrology: The Study of Fate and Fortune. As a student of Evolutionary Astrology under the tutelage of Steven Forrest and Esoteric Astrology under the tutelage of Alan Oken – I have found that both systems complement each other. In Evolutionary Astrology we look to Pluto and the Nodes, using a psychological approach to tell us what our wounds are, where they came from and the hurdles we must traverse to heal. As Steven Says” “Everything in the chart is about integration.”
Esoteric Astrology focuses on the purpose of the soul through planetary rulerships and the seven rays. Therefore, the natal chart is delineated from a Soul Centered perspective – showing us our Soul or Higher Mind’s intention concerning how we are to contribute to the evolution of humanity. It is a system that not only shows you what your Soul’s intent is, but also gives you the Souls highest potential in a given incarnation. After you have evolved to a certain point, your traditional chart feels like who you were. The rulers of the chart no longer represent who you are.
Esoteric Astrology is a system to be used in conjunction with other systems; it is the icing on the cake, so to speak. This system gives each of us the goal of our lives – along with the road map to reach it.
The purpose of this talk is to introduce you to Esoteric Astrology. The focus will be on the esoteric meanings of each sign; the esoteric planetary rulers; and the seven rays that give the planets their energy along with sample chart readings.
Marie O’Neill (MBA) is the founder of Padma Life Coaching located in Santa Rosa California. Her specialties are: Astrology, Past Life Regression, Life Coaching and Tarot. Marie’s studies in astrology began more than 13 years ago, shortly after her first reading with an astrologer. Connecting the Moon to Lunar Nodes: The Emotional Origins of Karma
Often times in evolutionary astrology, the Lunar Nodes are examined independently of the Moon itself. When we expand the scope of the Moon to a spiritual perspective (as opposed to only the psychological), we understand it as the great basin of absorbed experiences in the soul journey. Just like a child, we all begin spiritually less mature and conscious. The Nodes portray the patterns and habits which stem from these early experiences. EVENT CANCELLED
– so sorry!
November 12: You’re not going to believe this! We’re sorry to have to tell you that we’re needing to cancel Alexandra Karacostas’s Two-part Event on Relationships scheduled for this Sunday, November 15. Uranus is conjunct our Mercury and talk about sudden change! On Monday we find out that our usual meeting place is being remodeled and unavailable. Tuesday, after much searching, we find a replacement venue. Wednesday we get an email from our speaker, profusely apologizing that she’ll not be able to make it due to a family crisis. What are the odds? We considered trying to find a replacement, but frankly Alexandra is irreplaceable and the clues are too big to ignore. We’ve never had either of these happen before and to have them both occur for this one event, makes us think that we aren’t supposed to be talking about relationships with so much energy in Scorpio! Seriously, we’ve never cancelled anything before, so this was a very hard decision.
We thank you for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I guess we’re practicing being mutable. I hope that you’ll be joining us for our holiday gathering, with predictions for 2016, on December 13 and for Eric Meyer’s Two-Part Lecture and Workshop event in January.
