The Astrology of AI

This three-hour workshop explores the emergence of artificial intelligence through the lens of astrology, philosophy, and planetary consciousness.

Part One: Conceptual Framework (Lecture & Discussion)

The opening section introduces the core ideas from The Astrology of AI: The Next Octave of Knowing and The Shadow of the Synthetic Mind. Building on the vision of humanity as the Earth’s cognitive organ, the session examines AI as a potential extension of planetary awareness, while also addressing its shadow: power concentration, abstraction without value, ecological cost, and ethical risk. Astrology is presented as humanity’s original symbolic language—one uniquely suited to illuminating this threshold moment. Case studies include charts associated with pivotal figures and events in the development of AI, and the public emergence of OpenAI’s ChatGPT and other AI platforms.

Part Two: Live Demonstrations — AI as Symbolic Synthesizer

The second half of the workshop shifts from theory to practice.

We will explore various AI platforms and compare their ability to synthesize astrological symbolism. Personal and mundane charts are explored to show how AI may be used to integrate archetypal themes into coherent narratives.

Focus & Takeaway

This workshop is NOT about surrendering astrological authority to technology. Rather, it investigates how augmented intelligence can serve to supplement the astrologer’s role.
