Alan Clay
Sedna and
Dwarf Planet
Astrology
Sunday, May 17, 2020
2 – 4 pm, Pacific time
Discover the evolutionary spiritual power of Sedna, the new esoteric outer limit of our solar system and learn of the profound implications for society and for each of us individually in the coming years, as she approaches her closest point to Earth. The discovery of these new dwarf planets represents an evolutionary change in consciousness that is available to us at this time. In this talk Alan provides a framework to understand our busy new solar system and how the dwarf planets extend traditional astrology into a richer and more spiritual perspective on the chart.
New Zealander Alan Clay has been a practising astrologer for over 40 years, with a background as a humanistic astrologer inspired by the work of Dane Rudhyar. Over the past 20 years this has broadened into a study of Chiron and the Centaurs and more recently into the newly discovered Dwarf Planets. His book, ‘Sedna Consciousness, the Soul’s Path of Destiny’ was very well received at it’s launch at UAC in Chicago and reviewers have called it: ‘a groundbreaking book’, ‘essential reading for astrologers’, ‘a well-written, well-researched, and easily readable book’, and ‘a treasure trove of information and inspiration’. Hints on
Solar Return Charts
RESCHEDULED!
Sunday, May 3, 2020
11 am – 1 pm, Pacific time
Solar Return charts may be considered annually and they are one of the most reliable techniques for the prediction of annual events in the native’s life. This technique, which was used by the masters of Traditional Astrology and elevated by French astrologer Jean Baptiste Morin, is still used today. A Solar Return chart provides us specific information for each new year of our life, gives us information on our situation regarding where we live as well as if we were to move to another place. It also works with Electional Astrology and Astrolocality. In this presentation, Öner Döşer will introduce this technique, which also works with Transits, Profections and Lunar Returns, and provide examples with sample charts.
Öner Döşer, the founder of AstroArt School of Astrology, School of Astrology Publishing, and Astrology Television on the internet, is an astrology consultant, author and lecturer. His studies represent an important trend in contemporary astrology: the blending of traditional and modern techniques and approaches. He is the writer and co-writer of 25 books, 9 of which have been translated into English. In order to increase knowledge of astrology in Turkey, he organized an annual event named International Astrology Days where well-known astrologers from different countries are invited to speak to astrology students and astrology lovers in Turkey since 2012. Öner has trained over 1400 students, and as of 2016 AstroArt School of Astrology (ASA) has been added to the approved school lists of APAI and ISAR. Öner is an OPA Certified Professional Astrologer and also certified through ISAR Cap, is the Turkish Satellite representative of OPA and a member of APAI.

How the
Next US Presidential Term Could Affect the US Economy
Sunday, March 22, 2020
2 – 4:30 pm
Sylvan Community Center
7521 Community Drive, Citrus Heights
The last instance of a Saturn-Pluto conjunction in the late degrees of Capricorn occurred in 1284. Philip IV became King of France under this influence, and the policies of his reign had serious consequences for France for the next several centuries.
As the Saturn-Pluto conjunction of 2020 is in effect at the time of the next US election, it will affect the US economy and politics, regardless of who wins. Marie Schoeppel will present her forecast on what is ahead for the US in the long term.
Marie Schoeppel has been an astrologer for over 25 years, emphasizing financial and political astrology. Her book, The Dragon’s Debt – An Investor’s Timeline to Profits During China’s Financial Crisis 2019-2020, is a forecast of the political and financial effects of the Saturn-Pluto conjunction for China and the Chinese Communist Party. She studied financial astrology with Michael Jenkins, author and publisher of Stock Cycles Forecast. She has a degree in Mathematics from UCLA, and successfully passed the ISAR Competency Exam. You can read her forecasts on her website at globaltrendscycles.com

Solar Arcs: Interpreting
the Sun’s Plan
Sunday, February 23, 2020
2 – 4:30 pm
Sylvan Community Center
7521 Community Drive, Citrus Heights
Solar Arc Directions are an amazingly simple, powerful technique that allows us to see beyond life’s jumble to the underlying clarity of the Sun’s path. This technique has a reputation for very accurate predictions, but more important is the view it gives of our evolutionary path and inner time table. Karma and inner development often play out right in front of us in the form of events, but events themselves arise out of more subtle connections and necessities. The interplay of inner process and “outer events” is like the unending dance of the Sun and Moon.
Solar Arcs allow us a view of the “template of light” that suffuses the chart with meaning and purpose. This template is a map and a schedule of the insights, inner processes and often events that are needed for our unfolding. The mysterious origins of this modern but seemingly ancient technique will be explored along with how to integrate Solar Arcs with transits and lunar techniques in consultations. We’ll use examples from prominent charts and events that will help shed light on this integration. (more…)
