Two-Part Lecture and Workshop Event
Maurice Fernandez
March 11, 2018
Lecture : 10 a.m – 12 noon
Workshop: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Morning Lecture:
The Mars Retrograde Cycle of 2018
Mars retrograde periods bring some of the most dramatic changes and upheaval. In 2018, it will occur in Aquarius, conjunct the South Node, and the peak of the retrograde cycle will be as Mars conjuncts the Lunar Eclipse of July 27. To add more intrigue to the story, Mars will be the closest to the earth since 2003. Bring your red capes and jumpsuits, and join us on this exciting presentation.
Afternoon Workshop:
Astrology of Reincarnation
Is reincarnation real, and if so, can we truly track it in the astrology chart? Maurice will bring compelling and fascinating examples to illustrate some of these concepts and better understand the intricacies of the reincarnation process. We will examine rare cases of ostensible reincarnated souls and see what astrology does or does not reveal. This is a unique opportunity to explore this subject in greater depth.
Maurice Fernandez, author of Neptune, the 12th house, & Pisces (New edition forthcoming) and Astrology and the Evolution of Consciousness—Volume One is a leader evolutionary astrologer with a worldwide speaking and teaching practice. Dear Community,
I hope this finds you well and enjoying our early spring. Our friends are in need and thought you might want to help. Kate and Tem are the publishers of The Mountain Astrologer magazine and members of our chapter. As you will read, Kate has been suffering from an undiagnosed illness for some time and a friend of theirs put out this request. If you could make a donation, that would be much appreciated, but if not, just sending healing energy and seeing her healed is invaluable. They have devoted 30 years to providing our community with quality astrological information and this is our opportunity to give back in whatever way we can. Help Fund Kate Sholly’s Healing and Recovery: View Fundraiser
Wishing you all the best in the midst of this eclipse season!

Saturn, Karma and Your Life Cycles
Sunday, February 25, 2018
1 pm – 3:30 pm
NEW LOCATION: LIGHTWEAVER’S ACADEMY
The astrological symbolism of Saturn is far more complex and multifaceted than many commonly believe. Time, matter, karma and limitations are woven into the fabric of Saturn, and each of these threads leads us into some fascinating, helpful territory. Far from something to avoid or be fearful about, Saturn is a major key to happy living and fulfillment.
Saturn connects our daily lives and our inner lives in some surprising ways, we’ll explore how to deepen and work with these connections and how to move past some of our unnecessary limitations.
The ringed planet is involved in a number of powerful cycles that structure how our lives unfold. We’ll use example charts and charts of audience members to show how to use these cycles both in readings and in our own lives.
Chet Zdrowski has been a student and practitioner of astrology since 1977. He studied for several years with the late Richard Idemon, and is deeply influenced by the work of Dane Rudhyar and Robert Hand. Since 2005 he has studied with Steven Forrest in his Evolutionary Astrology Apprenticeship program. Psychology, meditation, perennial philosophy and music are also lifelong passions. Chet’s approach is grounded in the real-world experiences of parenting, marriage, business and the work world. His greatest pleasure is to alert people to their unique gifts, to inspire them to move forward on their unique individual path, and to help them move through the patterns that limit them and cause unhappiness. Chet is also the founder and leader of the “Transpersonal Astrology Group” that meets in Fair Oaks CA. You can reach Chet at www.czastrology.com.

Arielle Guttman
Discovering the Venus Star Point
Sunday, January 28, 2018
1 pm – 5 pm
Arielle will introduce a new aspect of the planet Venus, one that represents heart and soul united within our beings. This Venus is the Venus Star, produced from the eight-year cyclical pentagram produced by Venus in her orbit around the Sun. This Star Point is easily found and is quickly becoming a most sought-after tool to use to examine one’s most important milestones and achievements. In this workshop you will learn about the Venus Star and discover your own Venus Star Point. Beginners and Professionals welcome.
After introducing the Venus cycle and her Star pattern in a colorful slide show, Arielle will show participants how to utilize their Venus Star Points to answer important questions about their life’s mission, by overlaying their personal pentagram of Venus on their astrological chart wheel. Some prior knowledge of astrology and your chart would be helpful.
Arielle Guttman: Arielle began her astrological studies in 1974 and has since authored five books in the field. Her latest, Venus Star Rising: A New Cosmology for the 21st Century, is the topic of this presentation. Arielle has lectured and taught around the world for various astrological groups. She currently resides in Santa Fe, NM and has a home-study course that offers professional certification in the Venus Star Point.
