The comet commonly known as the “wounded healer” is so much more. As humanity evolves—in consciousness and technology—our collective mythology and cosmology must surely expand along with it. This explains the late-20th- and early-21st-century explosion of discoveries of exo planets and Kuiper Belt objects. We’re still at the starting gate of our understanding of these objects’ significance for life on earth, but there are emerging themes, the primary and arguably most urgent related to do with healing: our mindbodies and generational wounds, and Gaia herself.
As the “wisest and most just” of the Centaurs as well as a legendary teacher and healer, Chiron holds a special place not only in the pantheon but in modern astrology. His orbit swings between Saturn, lord of time and the material world, and the outer planets, who invite us to experience more etheric states of consciousness.
We will consider how the ancient mythology connects to the 21st-century zeitgeist, learn a little astronomy (those eccentric orbits!), and then plug in Chironic themes and explore the range of possibilities for each sign, house, major aspect and transit and, hopefully, come away with more compassion for our fellow humans and a renewed commitment to taking responsibility for our lives, relationships and personal healing journeys.

Much has been written on these themes already, however it is good, at the beginning of the year, to focus on how we can make the most of these changes. Faye will focus particularly on what Pluto’s change could mean for your personal development using a guided imagery exercise. Because of Faye’s research on Ceres, she will also discuss which planets Ceres will meet in 2023. How can we use her to help the progression of women’s rights, and all other rights, including animals? And what about democracy and the environment. Ceres has a lot to say about these topical issues. So bring your charts with Ceres included.

Winter Solstice Luncheon and Celebration!

After a couple of crazy years off we are once again holding our Winter Solstice luncheon at the magical Cha-Cha’s Cocina Mexicana restaurant in Rocklin. We have a fun afternoon in store at this warm and festive cantina with suns and moons for décor, as though it was designed just for us! We hope as many of you as possible can join us!

You are welcome to bring spouses, partners or friends, but the seating capacity in the separate room we will be using is limited to 24 people. So please make a reservation to hold your spot below. There is a $10 deposit required to hold you seat, this deposit will be delivered back to you at the luncheon to apply to your tab. (Separate checks have been negotiated.)
Dinners range around $17-25 plus drinks and the guacamole is on NCGR-SAA! Join us for a star friendly kick-off to the holiday season and a sacred welcome for the Winter Solstice.
