Gemini Brett
What in the Heavens is the Zodiac?
Sunday, November 17, 2019
2 – 5 pm
Sylvan Community Center
7521 Community Drive, Citrus Heights
Many astronomers say astrology is nonsense because the tropical Signs do not align to the constellations as they did in Hellenistic times. Astrologers often respond by claiming the tropical archetypes are about seasonal energies, not about constellations, but if this is so we should flip the Signs for the southern hemisphere and we don’t. If the Tropical Zodiac is not of the Stars and not of the Seasons, then just what in the Heaven’s is it? In this ground-fixing presentation, Gemini Brett solves this riddle by presenting the Directional Zodiac. You will leave this talk with knowledge that will not only assist you in defending the Tropical Zodiac from astronomer’s attacks, but will empower you with the knowledge of the beautiful astronomical concepts it seems they have chosen to forgot. Most importantly, a deeper connection to the sacred astronomy of astrology will expand your archetypal awareness, deepen your delineations, and offer an antenna that will allow you to receive direct transmissions from the ancient wisdom traditions.
“Wow, just wow! Gemini is a powerful speaker, storryteller, weaver of myths, legends, lore, and science. His talk was spellbinding and really made me understand and feel my connections to the stars and planets. Wonderful presentation!” – Suzanne A., Denver, CO (more…)

Learning astrology is usually a left-brained activity. We show up, take copious notes and try to understand what we learned. This workshop is different! Whether you are brand new to astrology or a gifted professional, through this interactive format you will discover new insights as to how your beliefs, behaviors and judgements have been silently running your life. These different parts make up your “inner committee.” Some are guiding you to exactly where you want to be and some may be sabotaging you, keeping you feeling unfulfilled and stuck. Where did these thoughts come from, why are they there and how can you bring harmony to your life? This workshop provides an avenue for a deeper exploration into who you are, what gifts you possess and how to best turn limiting beliefs into tools of empowerment.
- Take charge, awaken and trust your own knowing
- Consciously collaborate with your inner committee
- Honor and embrace all parts of who you are

Maurice Fernandez
October 27, 2019
Lecture : 10 a.m – 12 noon
Workshop: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Lecture:
Saturn/Pluto Cycles and the Great Conjunction of January 2020
Already in process and much talked about, the Saturn/Pluto conjunction beast is a force to be reckoned with. Yet, with the exact conjunction ahead of us in January 2000, do we really understand what this conjunction is about? What the spiritual intentions are? From an evolutionary Astrology point of you, we aim at getting to the bottom line, the “why!”
Maurice will explore this dynamic and review the different expressions of this cycle through the course of history.
We will talk about the effect of this conjunction through the houses.
Workshop:
Relationships in Astrology
We all need answers in our love lives, and Astrology is there to deliver! The natal chart and transits provide deep insights into our relationship dynamics and lessons. How can we identify the wide range of needs, from celibacy to stormy passion, and life long commitment? Maurice will include the role asteroid Juno in this paradigm.
