War and Peace:
The Nodes in Libra and Aries

Sunday, March 23, 2014
1:00-3:30 pm

FEATURED HOUSE: 1st

Lecture Details

In February 2014, the Nodes shift into Libra and Aries, where they will reside until November 2015- a full 18 months.  The Node’s time in this pair of signs designates, for individuals, a period of personal evolution and karmic rebalancing, with plenty of implications for the larger world, as well.  This year and a half long eclipse cycle intersects directly with the ongoing Uranus Pluto squares, promising a variety of dramatic results.

We’ll look at Nodes’ effect on both personal and collective, with lenses borrowed from traditional astrology, contemporary evolutionary astrology and Vedic astrology.

Western. Indian. Uranian. Traditional. Psychological. Evolutionary. There isn’t one astrology out there, there are many. When things go well, the astrologer and client (or student and teacher) are speaking the same language. Part of that is mystical, synchronistic, or just plain luck, but there is another dimension that we don’t often consider: consciousness. Join Armand Diaz for a fascinating and fun ride through the history of consciousness, making stops along the way to discover the homes of various astrologies. In no time at all you’ll see why you are drawn to a particular kind of astrology, and why you can do astrology for some people and not others. And, as a bonus, you’ll even learn the many meanings of the moon in the 3rd house!
