June 26 – Maurice Fernandez, Health and Wellness in Astrology
Certain transits and progressions show possibilities for changes in our financial circumstances. Some show job changes and bonuses, some indicate windfalls or lucky breaks, and others show times when it’s wise to be cautious. When we understand the financial turning points in our charts, we can make wise financial decisions. In this presentation, Rachel Lang guides you through the spiritual and material significance of astrological turning points, helping you become more conscious about how to move through transits, progressions, and directions with ease.
On January 25, 2020, we enter a new lunar year. It will be the Year of the Metal Rat. Metal Rat years are fast-paced and focused on finding success. In this workshop, we’ll discover what the Metal Rat energy means for you. We’ll look at predictions for each sign of the Chinese zodiac. And you’ll be given a unique Feng Shui remedy for each sign to bring in prosperity energy. Then we’ll uncover the Five Element System and how it can help you harmonize with people and environments. The space you’re in, it’s décor and the objects in it affect your mood, energy and decision making. Behavioral psychologists call this priming but the Chinese call it Feng Shui. Feng Shui has its roots in the Five Element system and Astrology. This is a unique system, different than our Western four-element system because the elements interact with each other in several cycles including a creative cycle and a destructive cycle. By balancing the elements you can create more harmony, peace and attract more opportunities.
As Metal Rat years are often focused on finances we’ll take a look at how you attract money through your natal chart using Western Astrology techniques.
How does money flow into your life?
How can you get money to accumulate?
How can you uncork blocks to improve money flow?
At the end of this section, you’ll have actionable steps for releasing blocks and accumulating money. (more…)
Many astronomers say astrology is nonsense because the tropical Signs do not align to the constellations as they did in Hellenistic times. Astrologers often respond by claiming the tropical archetypes are about seasonal energies, not about constellations, but if this is so we should flip the Signs for the southern hemisphere and we don’t. If the Tropical Zodiac is not of the Stars and not of the Seasons, then just what in the Heaven’s is it? In this ground-fixing presentation, Gemini Brett solves this riddle by presenting the Directional Zodiac. You will leave this talk with knowledge that will not only assist you in defending the Tropical Zodiac from astronomer’s attacks, but will empower you with the knowledge of the beautiful astronomical concepts it seems they have chosen to forgot. Most importantly, a deeper connection to the sacred astronomy of astrology will expand your archetypal awareness, deepen your delineations, and offer an antenna that will allow you to receive direct transmissions from the ancient wisdom traditions.
“Wow, just wow! Gemini is a powerful speaker, storryteller, weaver of myths, legends, lore, and science. His talk was spellbinding and really made me understand and feel my connections to the stars and planets. Wonderful presentation!” – Suzanne A., Denver, CO (more…)
The evidence of consistent correlations between planetary alignments and world events, as seen through the lens of astrology, can provide us with a much needed context for our wildly dramatic time. Understanding the cyclical patterns and historical trends that preceded this moment can help us engage with greater consciousness and skillful intelligence the powerful forces now active in the world. In this sense, astrology can be seen as a kind of cosmic extension of the depth psychology project initiated by Freud and Jung over a century ago: helping us become more conscious of the unconscious, less like puppets and more like co-creative participants in relation to the archetypal powers within and around us.
What is the current planetary situation, and which gods are now in dynamic motion? And how might our contemporary culture be transformed by the recognition that an intimate bond exists between the deep psyche and the cosmos? Join Richard Tarnas this afternoon for a discussion of the cosmological implications of astrology, and a “state of the world report” on the archetypal context of our national and global moment.
Richard Tarnas, Ph.D., is the founding director of the graduate program in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness at the California Institute of Integral Studies. He teaches courses in the history of ideas, archetypal studies, depth psychology, and religious evolution. He frequently lectures on archetypal studies and depth psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, and was formerly the director of programs and education at Esalen Institute in Big Sur. He is the author of The Passion of the Western Mind, a history of the Western world view from the ancient Greek to the postmodern widely used in universities. His second book, Cosmos and Psyche: Intimations of a New World View, received the Book of the Year Prize from the Scientific and Medical Network, and is the basis for the upcoming documentary film Changing of the Gods. He is a past president of the International Transpersonal Association and served on the Board of Governors for the C. G. Jung Institute of San Francisco. His website is CosmosandPsyche.com (more…)
