Pluto: Love of Power, or Power of Love?

Stay at Home Webinar

Sunday, September 25, 2022
11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Some astronomers may have demoted Pluto to “minor planet” status, but to the majority of astrologers he still has an extremely significant influence on personal and global affairs and an unparalleled capacity to “shake things up”. On a personal level Pluto demands profound honesty, integrity and what could be called “the Path of the Healer”. Pluto also symbolises the process of eliminating toxicity on all levels, releasing false attachments and learning to become a conscious instrument of Divine Will.  Gavin will explore many dimensions of Pluto, from the birth chart to Sumerian mythology and beyond, in search of keys to assist us in our own spiritual growth and evolution. He will also share some powerful healing tools to help in our own personal transformation.

Alan Clay

Sedna and
Dwarf Planet
Astrology

Sunday, May 17, 2020
2 – 4 pm, Pacific time

Discover the evolutionary spiritual power of Sedna, the new esoteric outer limit of our solar system and learn of the profound implications for society and for each of us individually in the coming years, as she approaches her closest point to Earth. The discovery of these new dwarf planets represents an evolutionary change in consciousness that is available to us at this time. In this talk Alan provides a framework to understand our busy new solar system and how the dwarf planets extend traditional astrology into a richer and more spiritual perspective on the chart.

New Zealander Alan Clay has been a practising astrologer for over 40 years, with a background as a humanistic astrologer inspired by the work of Dane Rudhyar. Over the past 20 years this has broadened into a study of Chiron and the Centaurs and more recently into the newly discovered Dwarf Planets. His book, ‘Sedna Consciousness, the Soul’s Path of Destiny’ was very well received at it’s launch at UAC in Chicago and reviewers have called it: ‘a groundbreaking book’, ‘essential reading for astrologers’, ‘a well-written, well-researched, and easily readable book’, and ‘a treasure trove of information and inspiration’. Join us for an afternoon of practicing our chart interpretation skills in a safe and friendly group setting. At this month’s meeting, we’ll take a look at the charts of the Presidential candidates. Who appears to be the likely winner from an astrological perspective? How might the fact that Mercury turns Retrograde the day of the election possibly affect the outcome? (Mercury was also Retrograde in 2000, a fact that made the “hanging chads” and other Florida election irregularities not surprising from an astrological perspective.) Which candidate’s chart appears to be most influenced by Mercury’s retrograde motion? (more…)

September 2012: Deborah Smith Parker – Pluto and USA

Pluto and the US

Pluto and the Chart of the USA

The Shifting Power Relationships among the People, the Government and Corporations

SPECIAL EVENT:
Sunday, September 23, 2012

1:00 – 3:00 PM

~~~
FEATURED PLANET: VENUS
~~~

Pluto has returned to the USA’s natal sign of Capricorn for the first time in our nation’s history but won’t reach its birth position of 27 degrees until 2022. A country with Pluto in Capricorn has a power base that defaults to corporations and their influence on government without intervention by the people and their advocates.

In astrology, Pluto works at a global level eventually giving the masses what they need to know to correct power inequities. First, he puts everyone through a long slow roll giving them time to feel the impact of power imbalances related to the sign he occupies. His intent isn’t to kill us individually, although it can sure feel like it—and at times we wish he would. Instead, he exposes what power inequities are killing us through collective thought and action, relative to the sign he’s in, ultimately providing opportunities for rebalancing power.

So what is Pluto’s first birthday in the USA chart going to provide us? Astrology helps us look forward, supported by looking backward at the progression of events fueled by Pluto. This eye-opening presentation traces Pluto through each astrological sign to show the shifting power dynamics in historical context, who is impacted, and what corrective measures are/were taken and implications for the future.
